Spokane County Fire District 8 invites qualified parties

to submit bids for one (1) new portable defibrillator/monitor.

 

Instructions to Bidders

 Defibrillator/Monitor

  1. Sealed bids will be received by Spokane County Fire Protection District # 8 up to the hour of 2:00 p.m. on May 12th, 2008 at East 12100 Palouse Highway, Valleyford, Washington for the purchase of one (1) new portable defibrillator/monitor

 

  1. The Board of Fire Commissioners shall reserve the right to accept or reject any or all bids.

 

  1. The Board of Fire Commissioners reserves the right to accept the bid deemed best to serve the interest of the District, which may not necessarily be the low bid.

 

  1. Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope and plainly marked “Sealed Bid – Defibrillator/Monitor for Spokane County Fire District 8” together with the hour and date of bid opening and addressed to:

Valleyford, Washington 99036

 

  1. Detailed technical specifications for the equipment may be obtained at the office of Spokane County Fire Protection District # 8, East 12100 Palouse Highway, Valleyford, Washington, 99036, during regular business hours, or at www.scfd8.org.  The specifications are the minimum requirements of the District and any bids exceeding these specifications will be given due consideration.

 

  1. The District will make payment of the bid price, plus Washington State sales tax, which must be separately stated in the bid, to the firm awarded the contract, upon acceptance of the equipment.  Such payment will be made 15 days after the next Board meeting following the date of final acceptance of said equipment.

 

  1. Bidders must furnish with proposals a statement of the terms and conditions of warranty and the location and availability of the nearest fully qualified person to contact in the event any problems develop with the equipment in accordance with this Invitation to Bid.

 

  1. All exceptions to the specifications shall be listed on a separate sheet.  Any bids submitted without exceptions shall be required to meet every detail of the specifications.

 

  1. Each bidder shall specify the date on which said equipment will be delivered.

 

  1. Each bidder must indicate in the YES/NO column if their bid complies on each item specified.  Exceptions will be allowed if they are equal to or superior to that specified and provided they are listed and fully explained on a separate page.
