Small Works Roster Information

PLEASE READ BEFORE COMPLETING FORM

Spokane County Fire Protection District No.8 maintains a small works roster for general and specialty licensed contractors for the repair, maintenance and construction of buildings and other structures as provided by RCW 39.04.155. All interested and qualified contractors who wish to have their names placed on the list should submit to the district their name, address, phone number, license or registration number and a resume or description of the type of work performed.

The District updates the roster twice per year. An updated form must be submitted each time the District updates the roster.

Forms for responses may be obtained from the district.

Under the Interlocal Cooperation Act, the roster may be used by other municipal corporations in Spokane County, Washington.

IMPORTANT

All contractors doing work for the District must pay prevailing wages. Contractors will be required to complete prevailing wage documentation.

Disbursal of Public Funds: Agencies may not make any payments where employers have not submitted an Intent form that has been approved by the Industrial Statistician. Agencies may not release retainage until all employers have submitted an Affidavit form that has been certified by the Industrial Statistician. The following forms should be used to submit your request to be added to the Districts Small Works Roster.  The completed form can be faxed to the District at (509) 924-8358.   Information is updated twice annually or as required.
