Station 82 is located in Valleyford on the Palouse Highway. This
station is the central station and headquarters for the District. The offices
for the chief, chief staff and administration staff are located at the facility.
Full-time career firefighters staff the
station in the day and resident firefighters staff the station in the evening.
Station 82 serves the Valleyford, Freeman, and Mica areas and provides secondary response
to Station 81 and 84.

WATER SYSTEM
The Station 82 area has no fire
hydrants and relies on water tanker operations.
DEMOGRAPHICS
The area has a mix of small commercial, residential, and farming.
Commercial is made up of small business, one industry and small retail. The main
residential is made up of single family homes on 10+ acres with dry land
farming. Dry land farming consists of wheat, blue grass, barley and peas.
