STATION 84

Station 84 is located in the Ponderosa development on the southern edge of the Spokane Valley. The station serves the Ponderosa, Painted Hills, Chester and Dishman areas. Station 84 provides provides secondary response to the Station 82 and 85 areas.   This station also provides automatic/mutual aid response to portions of the north Ponderosa under agreement with the Spokane Valley Fire Department. 

APPARATUS

	- Two Class A Engines, 1500 GPM, 1000 Gallon tank
	- Two 4x4 Wildland Brush Engines

STAFF

- Two Firefighters (Two person crew)

- Supplemental Volunteer response

WATER SYSTEM

The Station 84 area developments have hydrants and are served by Spokane County Water District 3.  Rural areas rely on water tanker operations.

DEMOGRAPHICS

The area has a mix of  residential developments and small farms.
