October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and the color pink is everywhere from shopping malls to football fields and even in local fire engines. SCFD8 members were showing their support for the fight against breast cancer by wearing pink uniforms October 17 – 23. Breast cancer strikes both women and men. Becoming familiar with information about the disease can save your life or the life of someone you love.
