Spokane County Fire District 8 offers men and women a progressive, challenging, and unique opportunity in the fire service.  The Volunteer Wildland firefighter is an integral part of their community and the District’s response team.  Volunteer  Wildland Firefighters respond, from their homes to wildland emergency incidents in addition to career, part-time, resident volunteer firefighters.
