Join us in congratulating Firefighters Lucas Miranda and Martina Motika, who have officially completed their year of probation with Fire District 8!

After graduating from a 15-week regional fire academy, both spent the past year rotating through all four of our stations—learning district maps, mastering equipment, and honing their EMS and firefighting skills. Their probation included rigorous testing in patient care, fireground strategy, and tactical operations—challenges designed to ensure they are ready to serve our community with excellence.

We’re proud to officially welcome Firefighters Miranda and Motika as full members of the District 8 family. Congratulations—you’ve earned it!
